Victoria Tanimowo
Founder And President
Victoria Tanimowo is the founder of Vickies Foundation. She holds an MBA from the University of Worcester, UK, MA Globalisation, Business and Development from University of Sussex, UK and BSc. Accounting from Ghana Communication Technology University.
Victoria was involved in various extracurricular activities in the University and held positions among Nigerian students, International Students and the entire Student Union body. While holding these positions, Victoria organised various self-development programs, career events, leadership seminars, vocational skills training, entrepreneurial programs, among others.
Victoria is someone who recognises the importance of the role of women in the society and understands the effort needed to further the education of young girls worldwide and particularly in Africa. On February 10th, 2017, Victoria observed the U.N. International Day of Women and Girls in STEM by organising a seminar and workshop in Ghana Communication Technology University to celebrate high school and University Girls in Ghana who have chosen a career path in the sciences and technology department.
Victoria has also served in various NGOs, some of which she still volunteers with today. She has volunteered with Idea Africa, Ghana, an NGO that concentrates on helping children read and provides them with libraries and books. She has volunteered with ProfferAid International Foundation Ghana, an NGO focused on delivering quality health care to people in the rural parts of Ghana; and Camp Adventure Africa, Nigeria, an NGO equipping young people in the rural parts of Nigeria with leadership and entrepreneurial skills, with its central focus on achieving some of the SDGs. She also volunteered with Holland Road Baptist Church, UK to provide food and shelter to the homeless.
She was the co-founder of Le-Vic Foundation from 2017 to 2022, an NGO she started with her friend Leticia Sateklah in Ghana which has been reaching out to the homeless, orphanages and students and still progressing under the leadership of Leticia today.
